How do I fix an electrical outlet?
I have a couple of outlets that when I plug something in them,they don't stay in they keep slipping out a little bit .You really have to hold it in to get connected.I tried to move the prongs but it does not work.Can any one help?

It seems that your outlet ay be fine but the plug on the electrical cord maybe slightly squished together. GENTLY tug on the prongs of the plug outwards and try inserting the plug into the socket. That should do it, but be gentle!!!
It sounds like the contacts are worn out, Kate. Time to replace the outlets.
Sounds like you may need new outlets. It's not complicated to switch them out but be sure to turn off the power to that room at the breaker. If you're the least bit unsure of how to change them out, hire a pro as you don't want to burn your house down.
