What seems to be the problem? No grass? Grass dying? Dog peeing? Please give us more information so we can assist you.
Best bet is to pitchfork the area out, put down manure, and sprinkle some seeds.
Are you having a problem getting it to grow ??? Are there weeds ???
Is it in full sun, half '& half or full shade ??? What kind of grass do you have ??? What's the problem ???

You might want to add something as simple as 2 TBS Epsom salts to a gallon of water to green it up, or fertilizer, or both. Don't clip it too short and be sure it is well watered at least once a week or more in the heat. Hope this helps Chez
