Charcoal Glad wee wee pad was on my carpet (it flipped over so wet side down) now I have a charcoal stain on my carpet. Pulled out the rug shampooer and it helped a little. But I still have a good sized stain on my beige carpet. Help!!!

  • We use a product called Capture (got it from Lowes) that has worked really well for carpet stains. There's also a cleaning paste made by Norwex that takes out almost anything. Good luck!

If that doesn't work get a spray bottle of Awesome from the local Dollar Store. It gets out stains from things that nothing else seems to touch. Spray it on and then use your shampooer again. It releases grease and grime like nothing else on the market and it only costs $1.

Get a carpet cleaner called Folex , I got it at home depot for $6 . This stuff is great !!!!

It gets out , blood, ink , dust , wine...old stains or new ones. Just spray it on , rub it with your fingers, then blot with a paper towel. It can also be used in a carpet cleaning machine. Good luck !!!!!!!

Good luck, hope it works !!!

the house we just bought had beige carpeting that was stained. I paid a service to come in and clean the carpets, they got it clean, but I still had quite a few stains. Then over the past year my husband has been doing yard work and tracking in all kinds of stuff with him. Sap & pine tar , also spilled some coffee, and some cherry juice ! That's when I found Folex...It worked on everything !!!! Just before Thanksgiving I borrowed my sister's carpet cleaning machine, I used it in that , my carpets look new , so much better then the service I played for !

hope it works as well for you !!!!

    This might work:

    1. Mix one (1) tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with two (2) cups of warm water.
    2. Using a clean white cloth, sponge the stain with the detergent solution.
    3. Blot until the solvent is absorbed.
    4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the stain disappears.
    5. Sponge with cold water and blot dry.

Thank you to everyone that replied to Charcoal wee wee pad carpet stain. I am going through each and every suggestion (letting the carpet dry between suggestions) the stain seems a bit lighter but still not gone. I will just have to keep working on it. Again thank you so much. Janice

Use 1/4 cup of white vinegar, 1 tbsp. of Dawn dish soap, and fill with water. Spray area liberally and let soak for 5-10 minutes and then proceed with blotting with a clean, dry towel until stain is removed. Some carpet stain removal products can be of great benefit for combating many types of carpet stains.
