How do i make sure my new tile and grout are sealed around my tub?

You should seal them every 6 months.
Ask whoever installed it if they sealed it.
I don't know what more you can do other then look to see if there are any cracks or breaks in the grout. You can alway use silicone clear sealer over the grout but I can't see why you would. Perhaps a grout sealer.

If you're unsure that it's been done, you might want to do it. You can pick up grout sealers at your local hardware store.
