    Cleaning Laminate Floors:

    1. Do not use steam cleaners or wet mops, which may cause irreparable damage to your floor.
    2. Use a damp cloth to blot up spills as soon as they happen. ...
    3. For tough spots, such as oil, paint, markers, lipstick, ink or tar, use acetone/nail polish remover on a clean white cloth.

Regularly sweep the floor. Sweep a dry dust mop across the surface of the floor every few days to remove everyday dirt

Clean up spills immediately. Use a cloth or sponge to immediately clean up any liquid spills.

Fill a bucket with hot water. The water does not need to be steaming hot, but it should be more than simply lukewarm.

    Or

Create a solution of vinegar and water. Pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) white vinegar into a 30 to 32 oz (940 to 1000 ml) spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with plain water and shake well to combine.

Soak and wring out a mop. Soak a sponge mop in the hot water and wring it out so that it is only mildly damp.

Give the flooring a thorough mopping. Cover the entire floor, starting from the center and working your way out.

Dry the flooring. If the laminate is barely moist, you can let it air dry. Otherwise, wipe it dry with a clean, dry, microfiber cloth.

I use ZEP Laminate and hardwood floor cleaner. You can get it at Wat Mart or Lowe's or Home Depot. It's around 10.00 per gallon. I use an old soft hand towel on the end of a sponge mop. No streaking--- just spray small areas then mop. I used this product for years.

I use a flat microfiber mop, slightly damp, and then a spray bottle with equal parts water, vinegar and alcohol plus 3 drops dishsoap and essential oils. This dries extremely fast while effectively dissolving grime.
