If a woodchuck could chuck fire wood, would the woodchuck stack the wood lengthwise or crosswise?

Neither wise , Woodchucks want chuck your wood .

How much wood? A cord or more? Is the wood seasoned or is this fresh cut? Yes, believe it or not, it makes a difference. We purchase cords of oak and avocado every year. The wood we purchased last fall will be used this year. The wood we purchased this year will be used next year. These links will help.

  Well no woodchucks here in Castaic, so I just point and pay and have delivered and stacked by some nice elves.
  
  Where some of my friends live you can purchase day or annual State and Federal park passes to clear any downed wood. You can't chop down trees, but anything already down, have at it. You bring your own truck and equipment. Typically people rent trucks go make the trip worthwhile if they don't own a commercial vehicle. A bargain if you want to put in the time and effort.
