How do I remove rust on my stainless steal stove top?

I have a stainless steel stove that came with the house I bought. There r rust marks on the stove top. can they be removed or fixedbarb

Barkeeper's Friend product or Zud, if you can find it.
Try Wd40. Let set and wipe off. Some stainless steel manufacturers have diluted the steel with lesser metals to allow the use of magnets, unfortunately rust is a new issue for these. Can't fix, just keep after it. If replacing make sure a magnet won't stick.

Clean off with either WD-40 or Barkeeper Friend or Better Still Stainless steel Kitchen cleaner.
