Big Lots Coffee Table, Turned Lake Shore Cottage Coffee Table

I was feeling vintage and beachy and wanted something fun for my next makeover. I picked this up at Goodwill for a couple bucks.
The top was severely scratched and had lots of water marks. Plus the legs were rather rickety. So after securing all the legs, and sanding the top, I got started with its makeover.

Using my silhouette I was able to transform this into a fun vintage feeling coffee table.

You can see here I started with a fake stained cherry coffee table.

I used a custom green color for the legs and American Paint company's Home Plate for the top. Come on over to the blog for full transformation
Until next time, Go make someones day BEAUTIFUL!

Miriam, I have had a solid cherry table just like yours for many years but, my taste has changed to a soft contemporary look. To save money, I painted it and my end tables a soft black and they look good. I even thought about changing out the legs. So, thanks to you and your creative idea, I will eventually recycle it when I purchase a new table!
