By removing the handle, you're going to create an even surface along the upper rim, which will ensure your book tree remains nice and sturdy.

Next, take all of the books you've gathered and figure out the perfect way to stack them. It may take a few minutes of arranging and rearranging, but eventually, you should end up with a tree-esque shape.

As soon as you're satisfied with the order of the books, transfer them over to the bucket and restack.
