DIY Adirondack Chairs

Just a couple of weeks ago I visited a friend of mine in Colorado for vacation. She had just moved into this beautiful house overlooking a magnificent lake in the middle of the mountains. Her deck was gorgeous, but her plastic chairs were all beat up because they were constantly being blown off in the Colorado mountain winds.
One look and I knew we had to build her something that would look good, be comfortable, and could handle the outdoor weather. With that, we took an existing plan, made a few changes, and created these gorgeous chairs for her to enjoy the view with.
Adirondack chairs are not too complicated to build, and are a fairly easy project once you have all of your pieces cut.
You can knock out a couple of these chairs in a day and be relaxing on your patio later in the evening.
Grab a little outdoor paint and primer and beautify your project!
Make sure to click the link to see what changes I made and just how easy these really are to make.
