How do I install tenmat recessed light covers?

I want to install tenmat recessed light covers From home depot in my attic. Can I use foam from a can to seal them? All suggestions welcomed

Hie Ede, If they are LED you sure can. Otherwise you will need to check the can to ensure if will not catch fire from the heat of a regular light bulb, and halogen runs really hot
NO! There are special covers for can lights so nothing combustible or insulation comes in with them. Spray foam may not start on fire but it can smolder and give off toxic fumes. Read the warnings in the installation instructions of the lights you purchase.
