You don't say if you are using live or artificial flowers ???
Either way , I think simple is best ! I prefer using white flowers leaving a lot of the greenery ( if using live flowers , remove leaves from the bottom of the stem that will be in the water ) add sprigs of red berries and pine cones, you can add a little glitter to the pine cones if you want. if it is an artificial arrangement, you can add tall white branches .Then depending on the vase, you can use ribbon and tie a bow around the vase .
