Jessica nice entertainment center. I have found some stencils that you rub on from Target or you can find them online too. Rub on and peel of later on if you want to change your decor.
I find lots of farmhouse type things at Homegoods, Marshall’s and TJ Max.
They key is to shop often for the sales or end of season items.
Since farmhouse is in now, even Walmart has items in the store you can look at.
Good luck and enjoy your new decor!
We have an old farmhouse and I have used cotton for fillers. I also have a metal "FARMHOUSE" sign from Hobby Lobby that would be perfect. Measure the area and start looking. Here's one on sale at Kohl's that might work:

I'd suggest buying a large canvas and hobby paints. You could use your own colors and shapes, or maybe a "Grandma Moses". Paint is fun.
First, take some thinned down 'off white' paint and wipe it all over the wooden unit, because that's a lot of 'dark' at one end of your room with the black fire and t.v. screen. Great unit, just make it look a bit more weathered...like it's been out in a barn !!
Second, take down that 'home sweet home' sign, it's too small, the scale is wrong, put it in your kitchen
Third, either move your clock to the centre of the wall above the t.v. to give symmetrical balance or move the clock to another wall and find a great 'farm style' stencil or deco to put above the t.v.
Then, the fun stuff !!.... gather up 'farm style ' pieces to put on the unit. I'd suggest some woven style boxes for the shelves under the unit for some texture, then, some tarnished metal ware mixed with perhaps some old glass and candles....should look pretty neat, just don't get carried away and overload it !
Finally, pour wine...sit down.....drink.... and admire your handiwork x
