Who doesn’t love to receive treats? Deliver handmade goodies or loads of candy to friends and neighbors with these adorable plush candy jars. Make soft, squishy characters to make your gift jars extra special. Show how much you care with these handmade gifts made with Fairfield World’s Poly-Fil at the heart of your project.

MATERIALS

Poly-Fil Supreme® Ultra Plush Fiber Fill

Glass Containers with Lids

Felt in various colors: white, black, red, green, tan, brown

Plush Toy eyes with backs

SUPPLIES

Paint in blush pink and black

Twine

Hot Glue Gun

Start by tracing two circles from the felt for the head. The size of the circle will vary depending on the size of the container you are using. The largest jar, the snowman, has a 6 inch circle for the head. Cut two circles out, one for the front of the head and one for the back.

Use paint to add features like the mouth.

Make a cone from orange fabric and fill it with Poly-Fil Fiber Fill. Glue it onto the face.

Fill the head with a generous amount of Poly-Fil to make it nice and fluffy. Glue the open end shut.

I used hot glue to quickly make these jars, but you can just as easily use your sewing machine to stitch all the pieces! Once the plush toppers are assembled, they can easily be removed and put back on the container so they can be used again and again.
