How to Make Pom Pom Christmas Ornaments
These simple DIY Pom Pom Ornaments are a super easy DIY project to add some color and whimsy to your Christmas tree. You can go with a bright, playful combo or stick with traditional holiday colors for your Christmas ornament.
Materials
- Clear plastic ornaments
- Mini pom poms (in assorted colors)
- Hot glue gun + glue
- Ribbon
Start at the top of your Christmas ornament and apply a hot glue in a ½ inch section. Press on pom poms, making sure to keep them close together. Continue working in small sections until the entire ball is covered. Thread ribbon through the top of the ornament and tie a knot.
Hanging Christmas ornaments on your tree
Simply loop your ribbons over each branch to hang them up in your tree. Make sure to space them out among your other ornaments so that they really get a chance to pop. These guys tend to get a little caught in those green bristles, so try to hang them a little further down the branch, away from the trunk, so that they get plenty of space to really show off their color and texture.
