I used doilies to cover a lampshade. This had been on my list of fun things to do for a while.

I have been collecting these items for a while. I started by removing the cover on the old lampshade. This one was lined and I left the lining although I have seen it done without the backing. But it was easier to have the support.

I laid the pieces in place and then used hot glue to secure. I left pieces hanging below the bottom edge to give it interest.

I tied a ribbon around the top and put a white flower in the now. I love the final results.

Suggested materials:
  • Old linens   (Various friends and antique stores)
  • Got glue
