How do I remove outdoor green carpet & glue?
I’m going to be removing green outdoor carpeting, kind of like Astroturf from a concrete slab. It is glued on. I’d like suggestions for its removal as well as how to remove the glue.

Try to get a flat shovel or stiff wide putty knife at a seem and scrape up. Use an electric sander to get the heavy glue off, then use acetone to get rest of the glue off.
Stuart, see if any of these popular videos help you. I know it's hard work!

Hi Stuart,
Had the same situation you have and used the same combination of items and tools to get the glue off that Kelli did. With ours the glue was so old it was not too much of a problem of course it had stubborn spots where the traffic patterns were low.
If you need to resort to acetone, be sure the area is well vented.
I see acetone has already been suggested. Pour it on affected areas and cover it with heavy duty plastic trash bags to prevent it from evaporating too quickly, so it will work on the glue longer.
