How to Make Giant Christmas Ornaments

Super Size your holiday with these over-sized ornament decorations! This is a super easy project that will impress both kids and adults alike - using only a few simple items. Best part is you can display them indoors or out!

Imagine your guests's surprise when they spot these giant Christmas ornaments in your yard

Materials:

  • Jumbo Bounce Ball (16 inch or larger preferable)
  • Cake Pan (9 inch - or fit to size according to ball)
  • E6000 Adhesive
  • 1.5 inch ribbon
Get a mix of different balls to add some variety to your Christmas decorations

These are sooo easy! Apply a bead of the E6000 adhesive around the lip of the cake pan, place the cake pan on a flat surface then press the ball onto the pan.

Pro tip - use the cake pan to hide any tags or writing on the ball. Allow at least 24 hours for adhesive to cure.

Hanging your giant Christmas ornaments

Once your giant Christmas ornaments have cured, cut ribbon to approx. 5 ft. length. Attach the center of the ribbon to your cake pan using adhesive. Again allow 24 hours to cure then hang inside or out.

To hang them, loop or tie the ribbon around something sturdy and pretty strong. You can hang them on the larger branches of trees in your yard, or from gates or fence posts. If you're hanging your giant Christmas ornaments in doors, be sure to use a sturdy hook or some sort of beam. These aren't heavy, but they're a lot heavier than your regular pint-sized ornaments.

These are so fun I can’t even stand it!
