HAVE NOT HAD ANY POSITIVE ANSWERS......IS THERE ONE?
You can use warm water with household ammonia or white vinegar. It should dry streak free. ! gallon pail to 1/2 cup vinegar of ammonia.
Hi Joe! Sorry, I've never used Jet Dry. I've used Dawn when a window was really dirty. I've never mixed it with the vinegar, though.
Just use plain ol' isopropyl/rubbing alcohol and newspaper. No need for any mixtures or expensive jet dry
I would not mix unknown chemicals together, you never know what kind of gasses or anything it will release. My mom washes with ammonia water, then rinses with vinegar water and dries with newspaper. Her windows always sparkled! Simple, and inexpensive.
I've never used JetDry on windows and can only think it would be recommended because it is used in dishwashers to make the water "sheet" off the dishes and prevent spotting. Since we usually dry the windows with a lint-free cloth I'd not think JetDry would be necessary. I usually use just a 1:1 ratio of white cleaning vinegar and water in a spray bottle and then rub dry. Repeat if necessary.
First, take an equal amount of vinegar and water and mix them together in a spray bottle. White distilled vinegar will work best for this. Then, spray the solution on your windows and let it sit for around two to three minutes. Lastly, use a gentle cloth to wipe away the cleaning solution and avoid any streaks.
