I use white lights, ornaments that are not very big, pine cones throughout, and candy canes. Help!

I've seen others take garland that is similar to the tree and weave it throughout. It's amazing the difference it makes with the fullness!

Hi Linda. I'm Cindy. You could try putting Christmas picks in the tree. They will protrude out of the tree. Lots to choose from at Dollar Store. Some of them are curly Q's. Some are glitter. And much more. Also, I think small ornaments will make the tree look even smaller. Mix in a few large ornaments. A friend of mine does a Disney tree every year. It really is awesome. She puts some stuffed animals in her tree. She has a Goofy, a Donald Duck and others. I think bigger things will make your tree look bigger. Good luck Linda and Happy Holidays.

Interweave wire ribbon in between branches. Fake poinsettia flowers or bows to fill bare areas.

Add decorative sprigs. Usually found with florals in Christmas dept. They are like sticks with curly ques, feathers , metallic greenery. Just stick into branches, they stick out about 6 to 12 inches. Add a very decorator look. Will add girth to your tree. Have fun!

Add ornaments in strategic spots to fill in holes. Tinsel draped over empty areas helps too.

thank You everyone. I have some work ahead of me!

  • I add garland to mine. My tree is white, so it's actually white tinsel, but it makes my really wimpy tree look nice and full. Once all the ornaments are on it, you can't tell that it's sparse.
