Here is an ideas from a fellow Hometalker:
I would use an old wooden step ladder. Put a board through the steps on 3 or so levels and use the rustic look to accent the Christmas scenes. Also, I would add quilt batting type blankets for the snow and a mirror for the "skating" circle in town. Just some ideas.
Thank you. Great idea and very helpful. May not get done this year but plan for next year. Thanks, again.
We made several of these last year! Here is a link that includes the Home Depot project pattern with material list, tools needed and directions. It got a little tricky getting the angles to match at the tips--especially the top tip of the tree. We had to build this one layer at a time--adjusting the angle cuts as we worked upwards. So--don't cut your angles all at once and expect that they will go together nicely. If you can spray paint these it would work the best--it was hard to get the paint brush into the inside angle cuts. They came out really nice! https://www.junquecottage.com/2017/11/13/home-depot-diy-workshop-november-2017-holiday-tree-shelf/
Thank you for your answer. Great ideas.
