Will a tarp over my metal roof stop condensation inside?
Will a tarp over my metal roof stop condensation inside? The addition they built was done cheaply and there's nothing between the roof and inside room, therfore I get condensation inside dripping on my belongings. I wanna tarp it until I can properly redo the roofThank yoi

Obviously not built to code. Get a contractor and roofing specialist out there to see what needs to be done to have a permanent solution. I highly doubt a tarp is going to help, but certain with a try.

Agree with Naomie, you need it fixed and don't think tarp will help, need to fix from underneath. In meantime get the stiff foam insulating panels and put against the underside of your roof between the studs. Just use use a nail partially hammered in the stud to hold up or insulation rods. This should help until you can replace. Good luck.
There are none. They laid the roof which is also the ceiling. Its a "backporch type addition.
