When we bought our house the tub had been refinished. It is now peeling. Any inexpensive thoughts on getting it redone?

Tammie,. Have it reglazed, that's the best choice, or it will peel again. Get a guarantee with the work. Aloha!

Yes, they have to strip it and start over. Just know even the prof co glazing will peel if scratched. In our area it cost about $300. Ours lasted 5 years.

We have had great success with the RustOleum kit. Make sure you follow directions exactly, wear respirators, and vent the area as much as possible.

Whether you pay $300 or $3000, some resurfacing jobs haven't lastest more than 5-10 years, maz, and fumes can force you from your home, until dissipated.
