My spice drawer was too full. And I needed the drawer. So I researched systems for spice organization. Nothing was right for me. It either took up to much counter space or it didn't have enough containers. I couldn't find anything that worked. I came up with this system and I love it.

So I purchased 70 4 oz canning jars from Amazon. They are the nice ones with raised sides.

Then I found spice labels also on Amazon

I purchased magnets that had adhesive to attach to the lids. If I had to do it over I would try to find larger stronger magnets. I had to use two on most lids to make sure they were secure. Also while it wood be nice to have the lid facing out the magnets did not hold that way. My frig is right next to a counter where I cook so it was very handy to use it. Another advantage of the way they attach is that I can see how full they are so I can replace them when necessary

I organized them by alphabet. I can't tell you how much time I wasted going through all my spices trying to find something. Some were in little plastic jars and some were in large glass jars. I couldn't alphabetize them because in my drawer I had to organize by size to make the most of the space. Now I can just reach for a spice and see then all very nicely. The results are amazing
