How do I replace a shade tree in Pennsylvania?

We need to replace a shade tree that is user friendly. Fairly fast growing

  • you could try bamboo but I would plant it in a pot because it grows so fast it can become invasive

    www.fastgrowingtrees.com has all kinds of mature trees, and they get 5 Stars reviews. Premiums are ready to fruit in a year or less. They have oak, cherry, pines, willows too. Yes they are more pricy than 'fresh seedlings' from 'a Nursery' that deals with 2 foot small trees, but if you want something 6 foot to 8 foot tall and worthwhile buying, you always pay a Premium.
