Do you want beautiful frames for your walls, but feel limited by a budget? Check out this amazing project for hacking Ikea frames. We love Ikea's affordable accents, but sometimes we want to add some personal character and create pieces that wow. You can also find the free printable landscape wall art on our blog at Remodelaholic.com.

It's so easy and affordable to create unique frames for your home using Ikea hacks. Check out this video for tips and tricks! We also show you several styles/colors you can try with this technique!

Gather up some wood scraps and get ready to build! We made a quick trip to the hardware store to get some 1xs to build our frames. You could stain the pieces after you miter the corners (which we did) or you could stain or paint your frame after it is assembled. You can check out our homemade stain blog post here.

The goal here is to build your frame just slightly larger than the Ikea frame. This makes it customizable for any size frame you choose! Glue mitered edges together and attach with staples.

Once the your frame is dry, glue top of Ikea frame and set it into your DIY frame.

We just love how it turned out and it was such an easy project! We all love projects that don't take a lot of time, but pack a lot of punch, right? Be sure to watch the video for details on creating several different looks for your frames. Which one will you use for your home?
