How do I repair or recover box springs?

Hi. Boy, angry cats? You can block in the box springs and under the bed with a wooden box. Have the lumber department cut plywood to the lengths you need and nail together. You can paint or stain. Then put a scratching post in the spot where they scratched the most. May help. Good luck.

Buy a couple of scratching posts, since you have more than one cat. Aloha!

You can purchase mattress protectors that totally encase the mattress or box spring. They have a big zipper all the way around so they aren't to difficult to put them on. I think they are made to protect your mattress from bed bugs.

You might put a fitted sheet onto the box springs but you'd have to use a product that sprays on the area and is repulsive to cats. I'm planning on using some when I get a new sofa. Meanwhile, new scratch posts and other scratchy items that are baited with cat nip. Also use a product like Feliway to mellow out those babies.
