How do you make a safe bug spray for your plants?

    Hot wax, or epsom salt vinegar and Dawn soap.

    I just used dawn soap with water 1 part dawn to 3 parts water. Got rid of my aphids on my roses and kept the ants away from my peonies.......for a little while........found out you needed the ants to propagate thevpeonies.

  • Mix one tablespoon of canola oil and a few drops of Ivory soap into a quart of water. Shake well and pour into a spray bottle. Spray plants from above down, and from below up to get the underside of the leaves. The oil smothers the insects.

    Dawn and water spray is the way to go. The spray coats the wings of wasps and kill them suckers. I am allergic
