Wood glue then wax
I took wood filler and mixed some matching acrylic paint. Mixed, filled, then topped it off with clear nail quirk dry. Even impressed my hubby with this.
Wood filler would be a great option! Then there are paint pens made for flooring that come in various shades are of brown to match your floor color. Use that to paint over the wood glue so that it blends in.
Hi Lynda - if the problem is just coloration, I have used a stain pen to cover up scratches in my laminate floors.

Lynda, Use a walnut and scratch over the scratch, until it disappearsdisappears. Or buy Old English stain, in a bottle. Pink cap light wood, and blue for dark. Follow the directions. Aloha!
