  • You could always take it to a clock store to have them look at it. They could at least tell you what is wrong and then you can see if you can fix it by finding a tutorial online. Or, see if it needs to be oiled or if lint is blocking something.

Buy a replacement clock kit online-Amazon( if that's whats wrong) Take it to clock repair shop. Hope nothing bad happens to bird while it's out in cold and will find it's way back home. Get new bird and keep the bird safer next time so you don't loose it.

If you are talking about a cuckoo clock your best bet is to take it to a repair person. Cuckoo clocks are delicate creatures and repairs are best left to professionals.

If you have mice running about, the cardboard glue sticky pads from Walmart do a fantastic job. We tried all the other conventional things to trap them and even bait-which they ignored. Take the pad and do NOT peel off the plastic cover, cut the pad in half, then peel off the cover plus you'll have twice as many pads that way. Mice are not huge so this will catch at least 2 of them. The draw we use is either a nut or a raisin in the center of the pad.
