What’s the best way to thoroughly clean/scrub kitchen cabinet knobs and handles made of pewter?
Hello
I tend to use a soapy water Dawn solution for mild weekly cleaning and Murphy’s oil soap for more moderete cleaning jobs. Murphy's oil soap is an excellent all purpose wood cleaner. Krud Kutter is another invaluable tool for greasy accumulations.

I used Krud Kutter to clean our cupboards before painting them and it worked like a charm. Just make sure you get the type that's meant for household cleaning, rather than paint prep:

I use a heavy duty Mr. Clean Magic Eraser followed by wiping with Windex.
mix same amount of vinegar and olive oil. Use the olive oil that’s thick. Wipe with soft cloth and it will even condition the cabinets. You can reuse the mixture if covered.
