How to I make a cleaner for laminate flooring?

Home recipe for cleaning laminate flooring. Thought I saw somewhere on here to mix 1part Dawn, 1part water and 1part rubbing alcohol. I made it and it seems really soapy.

  • When I had laminate floors, I used Bona products. Skip the homemade concoctions and use what is typically recommended. Sometimes homemade may not be the answer.

I use a different recipe. Equal parts vinegar, alcohol and water. Add ONLY 3 DROPS dishsoap and essential oils if you want. Spray on and mop with damp microfiber flat mop.

I've used Bona, but I'm not impressed with it. It tends to build up over time and doesn't dissolve grime as well.

I think that calls for way too much dish soap...i would just leave it out. I usually just use vinegar/alcohol/water mixture. Cuts through grime and kills germs with no residue.
