Our neighbors put chicken wire in their vented areas (they were in the attic) after they ran them out with mothballs.

Bone meal, dried blood, Liquid Fence Concentrate mixed with water and sprayed thoroughly near his places of interest.

Trim branches near your home to deter him from entering via gable vents. Squirrels are very adept at using telephone wires, cable wires to gain access to your roof/gables.

Keep pet foods, bird seed, out of your yard/porch areas.

Monitor your mulch for their nut stash and temove and bag any nuts you find. Pour peppermint oil on these areas, or hot pepper flakes, etc.

    Linda,

Unfortunately, your peace and quiet will be temporary. Even if you are able to get rid of THAT squirrel, other squirrels or other margin animals will move in to your yard at some point because it is now an empty territory.
