Easy
Learn how to weave orange polka dot and chevron ribbons with rustic burlap to create an easy beautiful DIY Summer Burlap Wreath to accent your front door.
If you’re following home decor trends, you know burlap has been the “IT” fabric for the past few years. It has even showing up in wedding decorations; that’s how popular it has become. The DIY Summer Burlap Wreath is a quick project that is easy to make. It would be a great project to create with friends or for a girls’ night with a glass of wine.
To create the DIY Summer Burlap Wreath, you weaving loops of burlap and other accent ribbons through a wire wreath frame. Following the pattern of two burlap loops, then one loop of an accent ribbon, two more burlap loops and then one loop of the other accent ribbon. Repeat this process over and over again as you make your way around the wire wreath frame.
Afterwards use hot glue to add embellishments, like artificial flowers or wooden initials.
We have ours hanging outside next to our front door to greet guests as they arrive.
