What kind of ornaments do you want? I love buying the fillable ball ornaments at craft stores and painting or filling them!
Here are what crafty Hometalkers have done.
paint, glitter, ribbons and LOTS of pine cones of different sizes; cotton ball to make tiny little snowmen, red 'baby' ribbon for around the neck and black pepper corns for the buttons; strips of colored paper glued into a chain --- like we did in grade school! Make Bows from different ribbons -- plaid, solids, wire edged to hold the shape, different widths, colors that go with your basic decor ( red/green, blue/silver, other colors -- that appeal to you with any other metallic trims -- silver, gold, copper, etc. Artificial ( or real! ) apples and oranges studded with real cloves --- just look around at any hobby shop or big box store ... you'll get lots of ideas
