How can I use nice plastic coffee containers?

I drink Folgers and I usually feel guilty throwing the plastic containers after I’ve used a few to store odds and ends.I’d love to find something a use for them.

Paint them or cover with shelf liner for pretty storage.

Make survival kits for your vehicle.

Make kits for the homeless (my favorite thing to do) with a pair of socks, matches, hand lotion, chapstick, and other Dollar Tree items.

    Yard or rope dispenser

DIY wipes (using paper towels cut in half).

    This project is cool:

Could suggest it as a yearlong church projects.

Christmas shouldn’t be the only occasion for these kind of charity.

how about making them for needy kids, lonely elderly etc...

You can paint them with a chalky paint or cover them with contact paper if the label does not come off. I use them all the time in the workshop to hold all kinds of small parts.

If you don't create them into something else, please by all means, recycle them properly.

My hubby always snagged them to use for cookie canisters. We also used them for chips, cereal, snacks - anything that came in a bag that didn't reseal. 6-8 a year I make into birdfeeders. The grandsons have used them for blocks, legos, crayons/pencils and puzzle pieces. Once you take the label off and let your mind wander the possibilities are endless! :) If you still have more than you can use, check with elementary school/church youth group in your area to see if they can use them for art projects or storage.
