I love to create things out of dishes, sometimes they are from the thrift store, sometimes they're just laying around my house. I wanted to share a few of my latest creations with you...

Before starting I wash all of the dishes so they are clean, free of stickers, oils, etc.

Dish Angel -

I started by using E6000 to glue these 2 curved dishes together like this. These would be the wings. I let this dry for several hours.

The wings were not quite dry but tacky enough. I placed some more E6000 on top of those dishes and placed my candle holder upside down on top of the wing dishes. I secure them in place with some painters tape and let all of this dry for 24 hours.

I E6000 glued on a round candle holder on top of the upside down candle holder. This would be the head.

I then put the brass insert that came with the candle holder back in it. I E6000 glued a star candle holder onto the round candle holder to be the crown/halo. I let it dry another 24 hours.

I love how she turned out. You can see my other dish angel creation here - http://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/christma...

You can also add fake LED candles inside for added glow.
