What can I use to cover the lower level of a large train table?
That hides the supports and wires. Not too expensive.

Susan: a simple table skirt (maybe with train-inspired fabric?) would do the job. ...you can even velcro the fabric to the table!
I have never done this but I'm thinking you may be able to use sturdy cardboard to create a surround. You could pain it or cover it with paper to match your decor. Just a thought.
Canvas painters drop cloth attach with either velcro or staple gun.
If you don't mind having a black "skirt" use landscape cloth. It is a cheap and easy fix. You can buy faux brick cardboard and cut it to fit or you could buy faux brick panelling and cut it to size for a more substantial and reusable fix.
Hi Susan! A banquet table skirt is what I think you are looking for. If you are looking for DIY methods, it can be made from simple flat sheets, curtains, etc. You can use velcro, tacks or glue to attach it.
