Our Christmas tree lights were broken, so hubby was throwing the tree out. Before he did I asked him to cut off some branches. This was not a easy task. But he did it for me. Hobby Lobby had all glass jars and containers 50% off so I bought four of them. I wrapped a battery light pack around the cut off greens and into the glass container they went.

This took me a couple of shots till I liked how the tree branches and lights looked.

Glass Jar, balls and mini lights

I bought two of these tall large glass jars, On sale for $2.50 each. Win win. I bought several boxes of small Christmas balls and four packs of mini battery powered lights. Three jars each got one sets of mini lights. I placed the battery pack on top, which the silver lids hide. At night we just flip them on and place the lid over the top. Simple yet bright and festive. In all I made four glass jar decorations, 6 packs of balls, 4 packs of lights. I used one set of lights for our front door wreath. One jar was a pretty green mason jar with a handle just filled with balls.
