As long as the medium is in is in good shape and it is watered correctly and in a sunny, but no direct light window and you use a good fertilizer as directed it will flower for your. Don't go by when you brought it home, it will flower when it feels it should. The only time I haven't had blooms on all mine twice a year is when my orchid bark was breaking down and it started flowering shortly after it was put in new orchid bark and given a good soak to hydrate the bark. Enjoy your orchid, even when it isn't flowering, they have such pretty green leaves. I even have a mini orchid that is putting out a baby on the last flower stem!
