No, Sharon. They are unusual and pretty, but not waterproof. You can spray with an oil-based polyurethane and try it, but terra cotta is pourous and sealing the terra cotta changes its porosity. But if you make several pots, why not try a few? Here in the South, we leave terra cotta out all year. It’s just the paint that’s not waterproof. Best wishes, ☺️
