I am a bit obsessed with confetti and made the prettiest iridescent confetti ornaments... I love how they turned out. They are sparkly, colorful and shout "look at me". They are easy enough for kids to make also, so this could be a great family craft night ornament!

Remove the ornament tops and paint a thin layer of Mod Podge inside. There are different finishes for Mod Podge, and I wanted mine nice and shiny, so I used the glossy.

I added gold and purple confetti first and then added the iridescent confetti.

I didn't know how these were going to turn out when I started, so I experimented with the amounts of large confetti. I love how they all turned out. When the light shines on the iridescent confetti, these things sparkle and shine!

When the ornaments are dry, add the tops and tie with a ribbon.

These ornaments are so pretty, you could definitely makes these as gifts for friends, family or neighbors. I love them so much, I might keep them out all year long. Personalize these with your favorite colors and they can match any Christmas décor you have, whether it's modern or more traditional.

I've never had any luck with this.

How do you "remove the tops" without breaking the glass or bashing the metal threads?

I believe these are craft bulbs, not real light bulbs. They can be found at craft stores before Christmas or can be ordered online.
