I love to create easy (but elaborate) centerpieces for the holidays. The easiest way to put something fun together is by using an existing collection. For this centerpiece, I used my collection of snowmen!

The first thing I did was create a base for the centerpiece with 3 circle placemats, which I put down the center of the table. I used a measuring tape to make sure it was perfectly center.

Once this was done, I started to layer the "snow", a.k.a. fiberfill. There is no right or wrong way to do this, and I did it super fast.

Here is part of my collection. I laid it all out so I could see what I had to work with.

To add interest, I used various size boxes to create different levels, adding special pieces on each one.

Now is the fun part - placing the collection. I admit that I moved items around several times until it felt right. I wanted to be sure there would be something facing each place at the table, so I left no empty spots around the table. But, as I said - nothing is right or wrong, so do whatever looks best to you!

After everything looked good to me, I found my stash of these holiday glass beads and bells. (I think I got them at Hobby Lobby last season.)

I added the beads and bells throughout all of the centerpiece.

It was cute, but needed something else.

So, I added a few of these sparkly twigs that I bought to use on my tree.

The last touch...A special snowman hanging from the light fixture!

Finished! I love it, and I love the fact that I can leave it up all winter!
