  • I would start with an electric or battery operated candle, add some greens, small ornaments and maybe a small string of lights.

    Hi Twila,

You could just decorate with Tinsel or Cards or make a small street or village using little house on a bed of cotton wool. Make the houses from cardboard folded and little trees using twigs and cotton wool for foliage. Paint with water colours......... Or make Lanterns etc........

Twila you can use what you have or dollar store can be a good resource.

Imagine your idea and go for it. A little bit of nature, pine cones and such give a Nature theme. A few glass balls in a bowl can be festive.

Your imagination is your friend and enjoy your design.

I would love to see what you did.

Hi Twila. I'm Cindy. You could put fake snow on the sills. Make a little town. Imagination is key here. You might be able to purchase little houses at the Dollar store, in the Christmas department or in toy aisle. Go outside and snip a few small pieces of bush and twigs. This will be used as trees. Put a string of lights in too. Good luck Twila and Happy Holidays.

Hi ! I like the traditional look of a candle in each window , you can add some pine branches and or pine cones. Or you can add a ribbon swag under each window sill with a bow at each end . You could put snow flame ornaments or cut outs from the dollar store on the bottom Windows near the candle . The dollar store has lots of items ...a package of 12 wrapped present ornaments use the around a tiny $ store tree. Also can find mini village, that light up !

You can just lay pine cones and ornament balls along the sill.
