    Hi Laura,

My name is Linda. If I was doing this project, I'd look at a light color. You didn't mention any other colors that are in the room, but I would choose something close to white - maybe distressed if you like that look. If you like a lot of color, you could pick one from other colors in the room and either match it or used a contrasting color. I hope this helps you. Wishing you the best with your project.

      Hi Laura

I'm impressed that all your furniture in that room is DIY. Great job! My thought on this room is that if you want the table to stand out, then look toward the whites for the contrast. If you want it to blend with the other furniture, choose one of the grays. The actual color will have to be your choice based on the look that you like. Best wishes.

Hi Laura. I'm Cindy. I think a light gray would make a nice contrast to your ebony. These colors give a timeless look. Good luck Laura and Happy Holidays.

Ignore everyone else. I know the answer -

    Whatever color you want.

It's your table, in your house.

I love a good white finish with an ebony stained top. But I think a light grey looks great too!
