How and what can you suggest to landscape my backyard on a budget?

I have a HUGE backyard and quite honestly, I don't have an artistic bone in my body to see what my best option is. I would love for someone to look at what I have and just shoot me all the ideas! I am willing to put the work, but I don't have the ability to put it together from imagination. :(

Can you add some pictures so we can take a look at it and give you some ideas? :)

  • I'm a big fan of cottage style gardens. They're very easy to maintain and you can add whatever you like to them...sort of build on them as you go. Here's an inspiration post with some ideas if you want to peek: https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2017/07/how-to-create-cottage-style-garden.html

And I agree with Jennifer, if you could post some pictures that would be great!

    Hello Ceasanny,

My Suggestion is to go to the Library or book store or Charity Shop and look for books on Garden design.

You could start by having a party, and collect ideas from friends and family....or call some landscapers over and see what they would suggest. FREE estimates! Google "Large backyard landscaping" and see if any images inspire you. Some areas have master gardener programs that may provide someone to consult. If the whole area is overwhelming, choose one area to develop at a time. You can have my husband, because he has filled every inch of our backyard
