What can I do for my 3 Pecan Trees?
They are very old and don't produce edible pecans. There are little white worms that live in the ground. Come Spring the crawl up the trees, weave webs. When the pecans start growing the worms eat through the shells and destroy the meat. Is there any hope? By the way, it is frustrating for the squirrels.

This is beyond a DIY treatment, call in an arborist. Depending upon how long this has been going on, they might be able to be saved. Here are some sites to get you started.

But If you cannot save them see about selling the wood it's highly sought after, being it is a hardwood(hickory family)used in flooring, cabinets, furniture; also for firewood and to make charcoal because of it's hardness it's long burning. You could use $ to buy large all ready producing replacement tree(s)
Hi Frances, here'a an article about getting rid of the webworms: https://www.thriftyfun.com/tf98802860.tip.html Hope this helps!
Cut them down and move on. If they are very old they are only going to get older and depending on how far they are from any roofs can become a hazard that way. If you are asking, you probably already know what to do. We had several trees cut down in our yard for that reason- falling limbs.
