How can I combine little slivers of soap?

  • I make an "envelope" from a wash cloth. Can be sewn or with glued on Velcro strips. Pop the slivers in and you have a self soaping wash cloth.

    Hi Blair, Soften them up by leaving in a little water and then squeeze them together, better still if you have a mould!

    Some people put them in a jar (pickle jar or any kind of clean jar recycled) and add a touch of water to make liquid soap and use it in the washing machine or even use for hand washing. Other people like to slide them in an old sock or part of a sock and use the sock filled in soap chips like a body wash. We like the sock (partial sock we cut off the foot to hold them. It works well to wash with and uses the pieces in the shower or in the bathroom sink.
