How do I clean and repair the leather on my bar stool seats?

The leather is looking very dry and cracking. What can I use to help them out?

Saddle Soap: Saddle soap is a proprietary compound used for cleaning, conditioning, and protecting leather. It typically contains mild soap, softening ingredients such as lanolin, and preservatives such as beeswax. It is commonly used on leather footwear, saddles, and other items of horse tack, hence its name. This product has been around for many years and works.

They make leather conditioner and cleaner , you can usually find it in the supermarket. If not , try a shoe store, since some shoes and sneakers sold there will be made of leather, they should have the product there.

Rose, Find an automotive store and purchase Saddle Soap. This is just for leather. You can find it probably at a place like Walmart or Target if they have an auto section. You can also find it at a a place where horse equipment is sold. Wipe the dirt off with some vaseline first. Use very very little with a rag. Check the directions out before you start. Aloha!

Clean them with leather cleaner for saddles and riding leather, moisturize with a product for the same type of leather, then need oil.

We have 4 indoor dogs and replaced all chairs, love seats and sofas with real leather a few years ago. I clean them with Leather Wipes in a canister and follow with a bottled, creamy, almond-colored leather conditioner as often as needed! Both products purchased at 👍🏼
