If you have access to it, wood ash. It's the best thing I've found and its quick and easy. Make a paste with water and scrub away. Wipe off any excess when finished and rinse or wipe with a wet towel.

Jean, If your trying to clean between the glass, our home talk members will answer your question when they come to it. If it's just the glass, use SOS very lightly. Open the door all the way. Spray some hot water over paper towels, and let sit for 10 minutes, then wipe. Now use the SOS. Aloha!

Straight vinegar. Will clean anything. If build up is severe soak paper towels in vinegar, let it sit on door 30/40 minutes. Cheap way to clean it.
